Tax Organizers

Please do not rush through the Tax Organizers.  This is our best chance to make sure you pay as little in taxes as possible.  We require EVERY question to be answered.  If it does not apply to you, choose “No”.  Review the notes under every “Yes” answer.  

The Organizer tells you exactly what we require to support the answer.

When uploading your documents, we do not require receipts for charitable contributions, medical expenses, or business or rental property expenses.  We also do not need copies of your property taxes or DMV records.  There is a spot on the Tax Organizers to input this data.  You will keep the receipts for your records, but we do not require them.

This is our best chance to make sure you pay as little in tax as possible.

Tax Organizers - Purpose - Key Instructions

Personal Tax Organizer - Required for all personal tax returns - Complete, sign, and return at least 7 days before your appointment.

Sole Proprietor Organizer - Report income and expenses for your business, including automobile and home office expenses. - Provide detailed financial information.

Rental Property Organizer - Report income and expenses for rental properties. - Submit a separate organizer for each property being reported.

LLC/S-Corp Tax Organizer - Use if you DO NOT use accounting software like QuickBooks or if this is your first year as a client. - Include financial details if not using accounting software.

Home Sale Organizer - Report details of the sale of your primary or investment property. - Provide information about the property sold, including dates and amounts.

General Guidelines

  • Answer ALL questions. Select “No” if something doesn’t apply.
  • Review notes under “Yes” answers to ensure you include the required information.
  • Upload supporting documents as instructed in the organizer—receipts for charitable contributions, medical expenses, or property taxes are not required. Keep these for your records.
